A heart patient with pacemaker and facial burn survivor at 12, Indian-origin beauty queen Shree Saini’s success story is a saga of undying spirit

Indian-American beauty queen Shree Saini has just been declared the first runner-up at the Miss World 2021 pageant.

Her success story is made of the stuff which every aspirant Indian woman would love to emulate.

A heart patient and a facial burn survivor as she is, Saini represented every disabled person and everyone who felt excluded or defeated.

At the age of 12, Shree was installed with a pacemaker and was told by her doctors that she could never dance. But Shree never gave up.

Declared the first runner-up at the beauty pageant just a notch behind Poland’s Karolina Bielawska, Shree’s success has elated Indian diaspore people in the USA.

Shree acknowledged the support of Indians. Saini said she proudly represented 333 million Americans and billions of Indians all over the world.

Her success has made her determined to serve people. She loves encouraging them by building people up and by uplifting spirits all around the world.

“I have my own commitment towards people. There are more hearts to be healed all around the world,” Saini, who was Miss India USA and Miss India Worldwide 2018, said.

. Her parents had migrated to the US from Punjab several decades ago.
