Manama, Bahrain, March 3: Pravasi Legal Cell Bahrain Chapter (PLC) successfully hosted the fifth edition of “Connecting People,” featuring two insightful sessions shedding light on legal rights and medical awareness for the expatriate community in Bahrain. The event, held at the Kims Health Auditorium, brought together prominent legal and medical experts alongside embassy representatives from the Philippines, Bangladesh, Nepal, and various working communities.
The first session, dedicated to legal talks, featured discussions by distinguished lawyers Madhavan Kallat, Secretary-General of the Migrant Workers Protection Society (MWPS), and Advocate Tariq Al Own from the lawyer panel of the PLC panel. Attendees gained valuable insights into labour law compliance, focusing on LMRA (Labour Market Regulatory Authority) inspection awareness and understanding their legal rights in Bahrain’s dynamic working environment.
