The Pelican and stork…the flamingo and crane,
These are some migratory birds that I can name,
The subject, needless to say, is very germane,
As I find myself like these birds of orinthologists’ fame.
I have travelled away from my sweet motherland,
To live as an expat in many parts of foreign land,
Was lucky to meet many who offered a helping hand,
And promised me that I wouldn’t ever miss my homeland.
Experiences are a many to remember and recall,
I have them all in my heart for a frequent call,
The past and the future I could see the events all,
Just as clear as any seasoned referee’s call.
Whither thou goest, I shall most definitely go,
This is the promise I made to my charming beau.
We travelled to see many places of mythical folklore,
And thereby collected beautiful memories galore.
Now I realise that we have innumerable pics,
Of places, food, culture, history and cliques,
And a satisfactory list with many many ticks,
For these are going to help me with my future scripts.
For these are going to help me with my future scripts
