During his visit, Singh met with Shri G. Kishan Reddy, Union Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Development.
The primary goal of the meeting was to establish a strong collaboration to strengthen the cultural roots of Fiji’s Indian diaspora population.
According to Singh, the meeting focused on deepening cultural connections, fostering understanding, and appreciating Fiji’s rich Indian heritage within its multiethnic society.
A significant outcome of this discussion is the planned Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries.
This Memorandum of Understanding will formalise the commitment to collaborative efforts to strengthen cultural bonds, initiate exchange programmes, and promote cross-cultural awareness.
Singh is optimistic about the potential impact of this collaborative effort to foster unity and celebrate diversity in Fiji.
