Now, the Indian driving licence is valid in which countries?

Travelling to a new country is a highly anticipated experience for many. Although road trips are a popular way to explore a new country and gain driving experience, many people rely on public transportation or taxis to reach new destinations.

Did you know that a number of countries allow Indians to drive cars on their roads with a valid Indian driving licence, even without an international driving permit from India?

An Indian driving licence is recognised in a number of countries, allowing Indian citizens to drive abroad without the need for an International Driving Permit (IDP), though the validity of an Indian driving licence and specific requirements vary by country.

While some countries require an International Driving Permit (IDP), others allow Indian drivers to operate vehicles using only their native permits.

Here is a list of countries where an Indian driver’s licence is valid.
