Dust To Dust: A Beautiful Poem
“For… Dust you are,
And to Dust you shall return.!”
All go to the same place
Ashes to ashes, Dust to dust.!
Ambitions are many in our short stay,
Afflictions hinder many of our dreams,
Alarming currents against your sailing
All but, you overcome for no claim.
Life may be short but for a cause
Live and let live in dignity,
Never experiment with your life,
As open books are there of other lives.
You may end up in writing on the last page,
And, may run out of time to rewrite from the first chapter,
Time is the most precious treasure
and waits for none,
LOVE must grow where pride once lived,
Live to leave a word about you not against,
The legacy of your memory should supersede wealth,
As the Emperor said on his death bed,
“A Tomb now suffices him for whom the world was not sufficient!!
