Exciting “Republic Day” Of India Here At The INDIAN CLUB

(NEW DELHI) The 75th Republic Day of India was celebrated at The Indian Club on Friday morning with the traditional ‘Flag-Hoisting’ Ceremony at 6:30 a.m.

The Indian flag was unfurled by the club’s president, Mr. Cassius Pereira. With the Indian flag flying high, the Members of the Indian Club Executive Committee, led by the President, Mr. Cassius Pereira, the General Secretary, Mr. Anil Kumar R., the Vice President, Mr. Joseph Joy, the Asst. General Secretary, Mr. Gopakumar, the Asst. Treasurer, Mr. Bijoy Kambrath, the Entertainment Secretary, Mr. S. Nandakumar, the Asst. Entertainment Secretary, Mr. Raison Varghese, the Badminton Secretary, Mr. Arunachalam T., and the Cricket Secretary, Mr. Ajay Kumar V.N., joined the gathered Members and proudly sang the Indian National Anthem. 

The President, Mr. Cassius Pereira, rendered the Republic Day speech on behalf of the Indian Club Executive Committee and wished the members a very happy Republic Day.

Children from MSK Skating did a 15-minute skating performance as part of the Republic Day celebration. Following the completion of the celebration, everyone was able to enjoy a hearty breakfast.
