Indian Flag hoisted in Bahrain, at the Embassy of India.

On the occasion of the 76th Independence Day of India, HE. The Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Shri Piyush Srivastava, hoisted the National Flag in the Embassy complex and read out the Address to the Nation by the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu.

After a gap of more than two years, the flag hoisting ceremony was open to all members of the Indian community. The ceremony was attended by more than 1,000 people, including representatives of Indian community associations, Indian schools, Indian professionals, workers, and students.

Following the flag-hoisting ceremony, three virtual #AzadiKaAmritMahotsav quiz winners from Bahrain were awarded. The Indian Community Relief Fund (ICRF) Bulletin, highlighting their activities of the past year, was also released by the Ambassador.
