Post-pandemic war, a sword hanging above our heads

I thought the difficult times are nearing an end. It seems that I was wrong. The world is yet fighting out the pandemic in its numerous forms. The world economy has suffered hugely and the governments are facing a tough time in fact they are clueless in many ways.

This is when the Russian invasion of Ukraine is happening. There might be many rights and wrongs to this incident. One thing is for sure that it is a perfect recipe for doom. It is important for us to revisit our human values and virtues. As someone said, “War anywhere is a war on everyone, everywhere”.

Ukraine signed the Budapest Memorandum in 1994 to be a non-nuclear state in exchange of “security assurances” by US, UK & Russia. Putin has stormed their territory and all that Joe & Jill Biden can do is “pray” for Ukraine.

How many more human lives have to be lost and orphaned before United Nations can do something for which it was constituted?

There are talks of peace everywhere, are they even serious about it? No justification is enough for an invasion and a war. My heart goes out for the Ukrainian people braving goliath Russian army and I pray to God that he may empower them like David.

Long live Humanity!

Long live peace, love and harmony!

  • You actually make it seem really easy along with your presentation however I in finding this topic to be really something which I believe I might never understand. It kind of feels too complicated and very wide for me. I am taking a look forward for your next post, I will attempt to get the hold of it!
