Some Omens Catch Fire…

Mind, an unmedicated wound.
Thoughts are broken glass shards,
Falling inward
In burning silence.
Fiery wind and words
Sometimes,
Will scorch the whole body.

Sporadic sights, on a homeless doorstep
Alters to scattered memories

The completely submerged,
Dry minds and faint smiles
Are dark stains on the shoulder of an old light.

Even in absence of a single truth,
A momentary spark
Will burst a flash from some.

Some words burning within thoughts,
Some dreams shimmering with sweat,
Some colored sensations,
Some silent liberations,
Some escapes hidden behind shadows,
Some hearty laughs that make the heart bloom,
Some surrenders touched by tears,
Some subtle changes shrinking in the coolness of transformation…

Every so often,
It’s from some
That words with tight knots
Gain direction and sharpness.
From a single link,
Or from the color of a memory
Emerge the images…
Against a backdrop of pain,
As an embodiment of light.

Some moments,
Just like some people,
Will set some omens ablaze…
