THE LAST SENTINEL

The last sentinel is the light that glows from within
The only truth is the one that conscience knows
Not necessary an outer golden frame to exalt
An ocean which cascades from within
Running parallely is the rage of the mind
Of the unwise hasty moments
The wall of destiny pulls down the heartbeat
For a while to lift up in the next trice
To prove straightlines are as numb as death.
Thoughts not guarded hit the meridian of peace
Invades the unsuspecting terrains
Inviting imprudent massacres and bloodshed
Which break the heart in fragments
The lesions at times not get healed even in prayer rooms
What matters at the end is who guards the soul
When it is needed the most
It is an insight on a day that ended the *apartheid
Surprisingly the last sentinel in support always
After the devastating storm
Is the light that glows from within,
Certainly the purest of purest light
