This Diwali HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa visits Indian families living in Bahrain.

On behalf of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa paid a visit to a number of Indian-origin families who have lived in Bahrain for nearly two centuries to commemorate Diwali.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa’s visit to these families on the occasion of Diwali is a unique tradition in Bahrain, symbolising the values of coexistence and harmony.

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s vision, as well as His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, are reflected in the Kingdom’s core values of compassion, tolerance, and openness, according to His Highness.

HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman emphasised the Kingdom’s coexistence and pluralism principles, which are pillars of its rich heritage and history.

HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman stated that the Kingdom of Bahrain is a melting pot of cultural diversity, with values such as communication, coexistence, and religious diversity on display.

On this occasion, His Highness conveyed His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s greetings to the Kavalani, Vaidya, Kewalram, Asarpota, and Muljimal families.

HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman congratulated the families on the occasion and praised their contributions to the Kingdom’s multicultural environment.

The families, for their part, expressed gratitude to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for his commitment to involving all segments of Bahrain’s community and promoting the values of communication and coexistence.

The families thanked His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman for his visit and wished the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and development.

A number of senior officials accompanied HH Shaikh Mohammed on his visits.
