BKS Presents The Arogyamitram Award To Dr. Gangadharan For His Outstanding Contribution In The Field Of Health.

Manama: Renowned oncologist Dr. VP Gangadharan has been felicitated with the ‘Arogyamitram‘ award instituted by the Bahrain Keraleya Samajam (BKS) for his comprehensive contributions in the field of health and upholding humanitarian values. In a programme held at the Diamond Jubilee Hall of the Bahrain Keraliya Samajam, BKS President PV Radhakrishna Pillai presented the award, which consisted of one lakh rupees, a memento, and a citation.

PV Radhakrishna Pillai said that among the many names that came to the award committee, Dr. VP Gangadharan’s was undoubtedly chosen because, apart from his contribution to cancer treatment, he has a warm relationship with patients.

At the same event, Dr. VP Gangadharan inaugurated the Cancer Assistance Forum of Bahrain Kerala Samajam. Appreciating the work of BKS, Dr. Gangadharan announced all support to the society in the field of cancer treatment and promised cooperation.

Renowned oncologist and wife of Dr. Gangadharan, Dr. K. Chithara, spoke at the event. Varghese Karakal, BKS General Secretary, added while greeting that Dr. Gangadharan is not just a doctor to the patients, but a sage-like guide and friend. BKS Vice President Devdas Kunnatu expressed thanks.
