Captain Cool’s era is over! MS Dhoni steps down from the captaincy and makes way for Ravinder Jadeja.

MS Dhoni decided to hand over the captaincy of the Chennai Super Kings to Ravindra Jadeja today. The announcement was made via CSK’s official Twitter handle.

In response to MS Dhoni stepping down as the captain, many former cricketers and fans have paid tribute to him through Twitter.

MS Dhoni has captained the Chennai Super Kings since the start of the IPL in 2008, winning four titles with the team under his leadership.

Earlier today, MS Dhoni decided to hand over the captaincy of the CSK to Ravindra Jadeja. The news was broke out by CSK’s official Twitter handle.

MS Dhoni captained has captained the Chennai Super Kings since the inception of the IPL in 2008 and the team has won 4 IPL titles under his leadership.

As soon as MS Dhoni decided to step down from the captaincy, many former cricketers and fans have taken to social media who paid tribute to Dhoni through Twitter.

MS Dhoni is regarded as the most successful captain of the IPL. He led CSK in 204 matches including Champions League T20 games, winning 121 and losing only 82 with one game not providing a result.

Chennai Super Kings will begin their title defense again against last year’s finalists Kolkata Knight Riders on March 26th, 2022.
