Experience Now an Indian Culture at The Indian Harvest Festival

It will be a vibrant celebration of Indian culture, complete with delectable cuisine and captivating music. Event organizer Monika Celly and associate sponsor Seshu Velpuri are giving us a sneak peek at Loving Living Local ahead of the big event.

The Indian Harvest Festival is a one-of-a-kind cultural food festival that will allow you to immerse yourself in Indian culture while also learning more about Indian harvest festivals.

This is the first Indian Harvest Festival in Colorado.

Harvest festivals take place during the main harvest season in a particular region. Because of regional differences in climate and staple crops, each of India’s 29 states celebrates its harvest festival at a different time of year.

Bihu, Pongal, Makar Sankranti, and Lohri—the names and locations vary, but the significance is the same: to be grateful for a plentiful harvest.

Indian festivals not only celebrate rich traditions, vibrant colours, and delicious Flavors, but also commemorate the Winter Solstice.
