JESUS CURED SONIA

On 29th of March, 2017, at about 10.30 AM, I was examining a female patient in my consulting room. Suddenly Jesus whispered in my heart “Your friend Sabu Thomas (Former Senior Sub Editor, Malayala Manorama, Kottayam) is in danger. Call him immediately”. I stopped examining the patient and called Sabu. That time Sabu was in the massage room of a famous ayurvedic centre at

Thripunithura, along with Sonia who is going to be massaged shortly. Sabu’s elder brother was waiting outside the room. They have already consulted the physician and paid the fees for the massaging. Sabu is a good friend of mine. But I didn’t have any contact with him since the past few months.

Sonia was diagnosed with the help of MRI, that she was having severe Lumbar disc prolapse with the pressure effect on the sciatic nerve. She was treated by two orthopaedic surgeons without any success. Sonia couldn’t walk since the past one week and she couldn’t pass urine properly.

I shouted at Sabu over phone “What nonsense are you doing? The moment they start massaging, Sona will be paralysed. Escape from this place immediately”. Sabu obeyed me like a child. Sabu and his brother took Sonia from the bed and moved out of the massage room. I directed Sonia to Dr. Sajish K menon, the renowned spine surgeon at Amrita Institute of Medical Science, Ernakulam.

MRI taken there showed, severe pressure effect on the nerves causing damage. He did emergency microscopic surgery on Sonia.

Surgery was successful. After surgery, Dr. Sajish K Menon said “The discs were broken into pieces causing damage to the nerves”. Sonia was discharged from the hospital on the 2nd day. Sabu called me on phone and told “Had there been a little delay in Mathew’s call to me, my Sonia…………………” Sabu could not complete his words.

I said “Jesus cured Sonia”.
