Make A Better World To Empower Young Women: President Murmu
On International Women’s Day, President Droupadi Murmu urged citizens to work together to remove barriers for young women and empower them.
“Greetings to everyone on Women’s Day! It is an occasion to honour Nari Shakti. “A society’s progress is measured by the progress of its women,” she wrote on X.
President Murmu praised India’s daughters for excelling in all aspects of life, from sports to science, and making the country proud.
“Let us work together to remove the remaining hurdles from the path of young women and give them wings, for they will shape tomorrow’s India,” the president went on to say.
