The Recycle, Reuse Mantra

Let us not buy many new things in haste,
Recycle, reuse are alternatives to waste,
By doing this a lot of energy we save,
And reduce emissions of global climate change.

Rather than always buying new goods,
Why don’t we look for great substitutes?
That way we can limit the raw resources,
And in a way preserve our natural assets.

It is now the time to show our cleverness,
Since our opportunities are quite measureless,
Let us be advocates of environmental causes,
And look at chances to make our lives harmless.

Paper, plastic, clothes, whatever you choose,
Or even old furniture we should not refuse,
I guess many things can be recycled for use,
A sustainable environment should be our Muse.

Being eco-friendly should be our main goal,
So let us all together play an important role,
Make a beautiful planet without the black hole,
‘Cause that is what is going to uplift our soul.
