Indian Club to organise MAY DAY celebration in Bahrain
The May Day on Sunday May 1st will once again be an exciting day of celebration at The Indian Club as The Club throws open its doors to an expected 1,000 expatriate workers, who will all be welcomed by The Club and able to enjoy the extensive program being set up for them.
The morning session will consist of medical camp starting from 9am-1pm and entertainment program with live orchestra in the evening with a number of exciting multi-cultural performances starting from 7:30pm onwards.
The Indian Club officials has said that May Day Celebration will be held under the patronage of H.E. Dr Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, The Minister of Labour and Social Development on Sunday 1st May 2022 at The Club’s premises in Gudaibiya.
As per the Club’s official press release, the Chief Guest for this event will be H.E. Dr Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, The Minister of Labour and Social Development and H.E. Mr Piyush Srivastava, The Ambassador for India to Bahrain will be the Guest of Honour.
“This is one of the most important days on The Club’s calendar, as The Indian Club is the heart of the Indian community in Bahrain and provides a focal point and support for all sections of that community; the expatriate workers are critical to the success of many of the Kingdom’s businesses
and services and The Club is delighted to be able to honour them with a day of solidarity and celebration.” Satheesh Gopinathan General Secretary said in a press release
