Storm Of The Vena Cava: A Beautiful Poem

Storm Of The Vena Cava

By Rema Pisharody

Instantly that road ended
Hitting a blank wall
Of one ancient century.
Hidden ageless manuscripts
Of several million souls
Wandered there for salvation,
From dawn to dusk, it rained
Dividing a valley and relevant destiny
Noises heard from the pavilion of a crowd
That cheered the winner of the moment
To be forgotten, soon or later
That is the pattern of cheerleaders
Holding colourful pompoms
For a show, for a moment..

For a while, mind in control silenened
All storms of the vena cava
Filtered words submerged
In streams of a tired heart
In measured silence
Life renounced not courage
Perhaps, solace in distress!
There beneath the ocean
All storms ended in a sea shell
For all oceans of the world
To write their manuscript..
Not on sand
But on the walls
Of fortitude..
