TEARDROPS

Tears are not mere droplets

but a rivulet, flowing

from the broken chambers

of a heart that has failed

to hide a shade of pain opaque

or a season of cataclysms.

Like rain drops of monsoon

From a cloud that is frozen

Tears hide deep a sense of sorrow

In myriad shapeless forms

To encircle life for reasons

Known and unknown

To cleanse the inner lesions

To heal to mirror a new image,
To connect to reconnect light rays,

To take in hand a new tender dream,

To hold a wish in silken eye string

Fallen from the banks of a virgin lake

for us to cherish a miracle in our

chaste playhome of childhood…

A  teardrop! a smile and endless hope..
