It took him six months of waiting, but Veer Mahaan finally made it to the Raw, after wrestlemania 38 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. In the Raw After Mania, Veer opted to fight the WWE Legend Rey Mysterio, and his son Dominik Mysterio.

Veer came into the arena for a re-debut and levelled Dominik with a big blow. Rey came to Dom’s aid but was smashed into the mat with a powerslam. Veer then targeted Dominik again and ended the segment by standing tall over Dominik. Thanks to this altercation, Veer has been booked for a singles against Rey next week. Veer, dubbed as the ‘Lion of India’ could become a dominant force against Raw. Veer may also become the new resident monster on the red brand as he has never lost in a one-on-one capacity. However, Veer has smashed the joke makers into silence with this. If you recall, the re-debut of Veer had become one of the biggest jokes of the internet wrestling community because WWE has been airing ‘coming soon’ promos around him since last October 25 – almost half a year.

But who is Veer Mahaan?

After a stint in NXT, Veer started working in WWE Main Event tapings in July 2021 for dark matches and then, on July 26, he went on to make his debut on RAW with a DQ win over Drew McIntyre. He was put into a faction along with Jinder Mahal and Shanky, and the three of them were unit until Shanky and Mahal were picked by SmackDown in the 2021 WWE Draft. So then, Veer started his solo WWE Main Event run.
