Celebrating EID with all! ILA EID Milan 2022

“When everyone is celebrating Eid with their family, how could we forget our brothers who are away from home?   And this year we did it for the first time ever, kind of Eid Celebration”, expressed an ILA official.

It was an afternoon of inclusiveness, encouragement and brotherhood when 100 workers were welcomed by ILA for a memorable Eid celebration – EID Milan 2022.

Excom 2022, with the Workers Welfare Subcommittee organized a Talent Show and Eid Lunch for workers from Two Seas electro-mechanical contracting company at AL Serai, Ramee Grand, Seef on 6th May 2022.

The event began with entertainment programs for audience workers, like yogic dance, singing, tabla vaadan, and mimicry by guest performers which the audience thoroughly enjoyed.

Six Workers from the labour camp also participated in the Talent Show with great enthusiasm by displaying their singing, dancing and acting talents. All workers who performed on stage have been rewarded with cash prizes to encourage their talent.

ILA gifted 100 T-shirts to all workers as Eid Gifts sponsored by the LULU group and arranged by Mrs. Alifiya Rahil Husain for the event.

Mrs. Monika Srivastav, (wife of H.E. Shri Piyush Srivastav, Ambassador of India to Bahrain)  ILA Patron presided over the event as chief guest on this occasion and her encouraging words and motivation boosted the spirit of ILA by bringing smiles and spreading happiness among the workers. She appreciated the inclusiveness of ILA and insisted that moving forward EID Milan with workers should be an annual event each year.
